(He)art!
Since September the months seem to be flying by. I'm loving the beautiful weather but I've been very busy with lots of teaching and projects (more about those later). Today is a reminder that we always need more love and light in the world. Prejudice and fear only blind us. I am so happy to be working on Legally Blonde right now as the moral of the story could not be more appropriate: be true to yourself and don't judge others. This week is our last few rehearsals for Innovative Arts' production of Legally Blonde. The students have been working hard and it's all shaping up to be a fun and wonderful production! For tickets check out: https://www.innovativemt.com/tickets.html It's crazy to think that at this time last year, I was prepping to perform Legally Blonde with my Sheridan Music Theatre class. I had such a fun time in that show. I've been hit by nostalgia while working with the Innovative Arts performers. The students are bursting with energy and ready to take the stage. On a final note: "Love is love is love is love!" And as artists we have a responsibility to share our love to the world. We must also share the stories of those who have been silenced. We must challenge and enlighten our world to create a safer place. Theatre is magical, theatre is healing, theatre is powerful.
