"For Clara"
I'm so excited to announce that I have been cast in the short film "For Clara" produced by Lifeline Pictures. Although I did find out a few weeks ago I wanted to wait until I had some pictures to share before I post anything about it. It is a film which centres around a young boy, Andrew, who is the recipient of a heart transplant; the heart of 16 year old Clara Matthews. He connects with Clara's family in their grieving. The film explores the different outcomes of organ transplants. This project is a wonderful way to wrap up 2016. After breaking a metatarsal back in May I was off dancing for over 4 months. Since then I have been to physiotherapy and working hard to fully recover. I'm so happy that I am not only back to dancing but am also able to do pointe work once again! I'm lucky that I am able to share some of my passion for dance in the opening scenes of this film. We shot in the beautiful Dancemakers studio space in the Distillery District. Check out the photos below and stay tuned for more information about the film and how you can help out! Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/forclaramovie/
